Research Needs In Relation to COVID-19 by the HERA Consortium

Dear readers,

As you might have noticed in our Interim Health and Environment Research Agenda Document (which can be found HERE and under our Outcomes Tab), we stated that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, or any pandemic, on the "Environment-Health-Climate Change research needs" were yet to be discussed.

The HERA Partners have worked hard in the past weeks to synthesize and organize the research needs on the interlinkages of the COVID-19 pandemic with Environment Climate and Health, titled HERA-COVID-19, and our first results are available (Click HERE to view). You may also find the document under our Outcomes Tab.

There are several suggestions which are organized into three main research goals. Some of the suggestions are of typical European relevance (such as the harmonisation of cohorts, survey efforts and several others). We will also be examining the long term research needs; however, it will take several months in order to generate more thorough material. We will keep you posted!
