In Zeiten von globalen Umweltveränderungen müssen wir die Verbindungen und Interaktionen zwischen Umwelt, Klima und Gesundheit verbessern. Uns stellen sich unbestreitbar viele und komplexe Herausforderungen. Daher ist eine vertiefte transdisziplinäre Grundlagenforschung sowie eine angewandte Forschung erforderlich, ebenso wie die Verbreitung von wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen und ein Dialog zwischen Wissenschaft, Politik und Gesellschaft. Dadurch werden wir inder Lage sein, eine relevante Gestaltung und eine effektive Umsetzung öffentlicher Grundsätze und Regeln auf Europaeischer nationaler und kommunaler Ebene sicherzustellen.
